OB Orientation

Saturday at the Sick Baby Clinic will be a children's party if not a "world youth day" celebration. Today was no exception. And because 4 persons were off, another group went to the Pedia Neuro and another group were at the Well Baby Clinic, only a few were left at the Sick Baby Clinic and so, we handled so many patients. We were given a patient even if we're still doing our history and physical examination on another. Come 12 noon, we went to the OB orientation despite the patients at the OPD. We endorsed our patients to the interns for presentation. "I will not welcome you because you're not welcome here." were the very exact words I heard when the OB resident started her speech. We were dumb-founded and yes, she was only joking. Our OB GYN rotation will be divided to 1 month of OB in UST, 2 weeks of OB at Fabella (not again!) and 2 weeks of Gynecology. Essentially, she just oriented us on the entry competencies and what we are supposed to do when we're already rotating at this department.
