My brods and I went wall-climbing at Power-Up Pasig. The meeting place was Starbucks, Shangrila. King, RJ, Dot, Dennis B., Alex, Bjon, Patrick and myself came. Just a 10 to 15-minute drive from the meeting place, we arrived at Power-Up. The place was situated at the back of a tennis court. The wall was constructed with a beginner and with an expert course. The instructor gave us the gear which included the harness and the climbing shoes. He then instructed us on how to belay properly. We got on the beginner’s course and I went first. I got on pretty well, the course was nice and easy. Thanks to the easy to grip handles. We even divided ourselves into 2 for a relay race. Out of 3, we only won 1 race. We also tried the more difficult course and with the adjective I used, it was really difficult. The handles were shallow and I had a hard time reaching even half of the course. By that time, Niko arrived with his girlfriend Karen. We started at 2 o’clock. We left the place 8 o’clock. We went to Metrowalk and had our dinner in an Indian Restaurant. The service was really bad. It was so bad I wasn’t able to remember the name. We headed on for dessert at Icebergs where we met Kuya Natz, together with some ophtha peeps. We also saw Sunshine Dizon just 2 tables away. It was fun, if not for the flu that hit me after going home.
