My Tips for the Boards

The members of the Board of Medicine who gave the licensure examinations are:

Dr. Ricardo D. Fulgencio II, as Chairman; Dr. Miguel L. Noche Jr., Dr. Restituto C. De
Ocampo and Dr. Jose S. Ramirez for Members.

Dr. De Ocampo made the exams in Legal Medicine and Microbiology.
Dr. Fulgencio did Preventive Medicine and Pediatrics
Dr. Noche made Anatomy, Pathology and OB GYN
And the famous Dr. J. Ramirez did Pharmacology, Medicine, Surgery and Biochemistry.

The Physician Licensure Exams are usually held on the 2nd or 3rd week of August and February. They usually fall on 2 consecutive weekends. The August 2005 exams were held at EARIST (1st half) and MLQU (2nd half). Other testing sites include UE and CEU.

The schedule of the exams is constant.

First Day:
7-7:45AM General Instructions
8-10AM Biochemistry
11-1PM Anatomy and Histology
2-4PM Microbiology and Immunology

Second Day
8-10AM Physiology
11-1PM Legal Medicine, Ethics and Medical Jurisprudence
2-4PM Pathology

Third Day
8-10AM Pharmacology and Therapeutics
11-1PM Surgery (including EENT)
2-4PM Medicine

Fourth Day
8-10AM Obstetrics and Gynecology
11-1PM Pediatrics and Nutrition
2-4PM Preventive Medicine and Public Health
