Toxic Big Group Discussion Finally Over

At last! Our big group discussion is finally over! We had this very complicated pulmonary case. To start with, the patient is intubated so we can't interview and have a thorough physical examination. So, the only way we can get her history is through the relatives. To cut the very long story short, the patient has asthma, bronchiectasis, pulmonary embolism, hospital/community acquired pneumonia and guess what untreated tuberculosis. So, it's possible that all these problems can be present in one patient. The only ones lacking are COPD and Lung CA. Enough of that. Last friday, the Medicine Glee Club sang at the play "Dok, Dok Paano Ka Ba Ginawa" and I think we did well, basing on the reactions of the audience. I just hope that they're not just saying that to make us feel good but actually meaning it. Early this morning, this "bad luck" spell is still with me regarding the medicine quizzes. They're so f@#%n' hard! Well, it wasn't just me who is having a hard time. Also, my classmates. That's my only consolation. This afternoon, we'll be having lectures in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery. To come or not to come to class, that's the question... hehehe
