Portosystemic encephalopathy

We have one week to prepare for our big group discussion. Our case is about portosystemic encephalopathy, one of the complications of cirrhosis, and in this case alcoholic cirrhosis. He presented with altered sensorium. I was assigned to work on the pathophysiology of PSE and so I'm here at the LRU looking for that.
