Obstetric Obsession

We had our first day in OB with a duty-status. Naturally, we all had patients. All those who haven't had patients to start with, were decked with patients ranging from primis to incomplete abortion to caesarian section. In short, we were bombarded with patients, female patients who presented their vaginas perineum to us (gulp! =). Maybe this is just a prelude to our OB rotation in Fabella and so, we shouldn't whine! There was one patient whom we had difficulty delegating on what group to belong. She arrived 5AM but she was admitted past 6AM. Does she go to the outgoing group or the incoming group?
