Neurology Galore

It's been awhile since I last blogged. Can you imagine? Two weeks of no blog? You know why? It's because of my current rotation - Neurology. A lot are expected from the interns. I was assigned at service 1, the same service where the medical director is included. We make rounds with him and it's safe to say that we did our part. We learned and re-learned a lot in Neurology, the specialty that is potentially my future specialty. Since SLMC is a private hospital, we not only get severe cases like stroke and the like but also milder diseases that I didn't see at UST. We get to hone our localization skills through bedside rounds and conferences. We also need to pass a case discussion. Which reminds me, I still don't have one.... hehehe
