Patch Adams

Yeah! You heard me right - Patch Adams visited Manila. I was there a while ago in his symposium at the Manila Midtown Hotel. He basically talked about his belief that "healing should be a loving interchange, not a business transaction." Thus, along with his medical tools, he brings humor, love and caring to his patients' bed. He also showed a video showing how he "clowned" around with patients and how he shared gladness to them. After transferring the pictures from my camera, I'll make sure to post them here.
