VATS

Yesterday, I had my second assist in a TCVS Operating Room. It was VATS - video assisted thoracic surgery. The patient has lung CA. He underwent bronchoscopy first followed by VATS. Intraoperatively, there were fibrin and necrotic tissue found at the left pleural space and an atelectatic left lung. Relatively, it was a fast procedure.
