Yeng Constantino: Grand Star Dreamer

A dream is realized; Yeng Constantino, the 18-year-old aspiring star from Rizal, found her destiny as she was named the first-ever Grand Star Dreamer. She beat out 5 other co-scholars who also became her close friends in their stint in the Academy. Upon announcing her name, she was joined by the other students and faculty, who happily celebrated the birth of a new star. Eighteen-year-old Yeng the rebel-rocker, stopped schooling in order to help out her parents. She sacrificed her own education in order to let her siblings continue with their own schooling. Never giving up on her music, Yeng used her time to continue to live out her passion and soon became the lead vocalist of a rock band. She has written a number of songs like, “Hawak-kamay” which is about a cousin whom she has developed a deep friendship with. Congratulations Yeng!
