ENT

No, it's not the Ents from ROTK: TTT, those tree-people. It's Ear Nose and Throat or more medically termed, Otorhinolaryngology. What's not known to many, they're also responsible for head and neck surgery. Today is my third day of my rotation. I find this rotation toxic because only 3 clerks remain at the ward, 1 clerk goes to the Hearing and Dizziness Center, the rest go to OPD. Among those who remain at the ward, one clerk acts as the acting intern because no intern chooses ENT for an elective. Tomorrow, my patient who has bilateral nasal polyp, grade II will undergo FESS or functional endoscopic sinus surgery.
