Obstetrics Quiz
| We had a quiz in Obstetrics this morning. I think I did fine. I had this foolish mistake. The question went like: Would the patient have a bleeding similar to a laceration of the vaginal canal in a subinvoluted uterus? I was stucked there in that question for quite sometime and decided to check the item. To cut the story short, my answer was wrong... darn! The last four items were also tough. They made us tell the pathophysiology of DIC in a number of obstetrical conditions such as abruptio placenta, severe preeclampsia, amniotic fluid embolism and in septic abortion. Good thing I was able to read my notes and remembered their mechanisms. |
